Ofer Brandes

Co-founder and CEO of Tersus Software Ltd., CTO at Carmel Ventures.

Ofer has 30 years of experience in software engineering, starting in his military service and then in various software companies.

Tersus has developed an innovative Visual Programming Platform (open source) for creating applications by drawing flow diagrams instead of writing code.

It is used to develop enterprise web applications, with a special focus on mobile applications (native and web iPhone/Android  apps).

Prior to founding Tersus in 2003, Ofer was the CTO of SunGard Business Integration (“SBI”, formerly MINT) where he was responsible for monitoring, evaluating and analyzing relevant technological and business trends and leading the company's major technological decisions.

Ofer personally led the development of the MINT Knowledge Master - the company's innovative Business Process Integration technology.
